North Sydney Conversations is a newly formed group for people living across the North Sydney electorate to discuss issues that matter and what we can do to make a difference.
We hold regular events on the Lower North Shore to connect locals with subject matter experts and each other. Our aim is to foster a local community where people can explore ideas openly, in a respectful and informed way.
Our conversations are curated for the North Sydney federal electorate, which stretches from Gladesville to Chatswood, Castlecrag and Cremorne, and includes the North Sydney, Willoughby, Hunters Hill, and Lane Cove local council areas. If you are from this area, we’d love for you to join us!
We respect the diversity and opinions within our community.
Some of the issues that matter most to our local community have unfortunately become overly politicised. We want to elevate the conversation so we can move forward on issues like:
- climate change
- federal ICAC
- women’s right to equality and safety
- media ownership
We want all voices in our community to be heard, and we’d love to hear from you. Please take our anonymous survey to share what issues you want to hear about or get in touch by email, social media, or at one of our events.
Want to get involved?
